Our perspectives on outdoor lighting

Placement Is Everything

We’ve been brought in to rescue projects that failed prematurely simply because the placement of the fixtures was not thought through, Of course a path lights placed 6” from the edge of your driveway are going to get damaged! Experience makes all the difference.

Color Temp and lumen output matter

Different species of trees and plants require different color temperatures to correctly accent their colors, flowers and foliage.  The correct beam spread and lumen output can add depth to the subject rather than create a one dimensional unfocused wide wash of light.  This kind of attention to detail is what sets up apart.

The right fixture for the application

All too often inferior product is used to keep costs down. In many cases this is simply means you’ll pay more later, rather than upfront, Like everything else in life, you get what you pay for when it comes to outdoor fixtures. We’ll help you select the right fixture at the right price.

layers of light make the difference

Path lights and bullet lights are beautiful! But if they all point in the same direction and have the same color temperature there is no texture. When possible, we create beauty and drama by adding cooler temperature downlights in trees to create a “moon light” effect, or linear lighting at accent walls or steps. More layers = more beauty!
