HLL designs the environment around a pool: the approach from the house, steps and grade changes, deck edges, seating, dining, planting, and the views looking back toward the home. The objective is not raw brightness. It is the right light in the right places, with calm sightlines and enough contrast to make movement feel natural.

HLL coordinates the surrounding landscape and hardscape lighting. Underwater pool fixtures are addressed with the pool professional when they are part of the project.

Can HLL add lighting around an existing pool?

Yes. HLL can assess the surrounding environment, access, existing lighting, and the areas that need improvement before recommending a focused upgrade or broader plan.

Will lighting create glare on the water?

Water and glass make sightlines especially important. Fixture placement, shielding, output, and after-dark aiming are used to reduce distracting reflections and visible sources.

Can pool-area lighting be integrated with home controls?

When appropriate, compatible exterior lighting can coordinate with Lutron, Control4, or Savant through Home Technology Experts.
